As a parent, you are a proud member of the Booster Club! Below you will find the name and email addresses of the volunteers who organize the team's community to support coaches and swimmers.

The Team Captains are non-voting members of the Booster Club Board. They provide leadership to their peers, and support the board in various ways: communication, social media, fundraising,etc.

President: Oversees the board and serves as primary liaison between coaches and board. 

• Supports coaches, and follows and enforces JCPS guidelines and communicates with dMHS Athletic Director. 
• Initiates registration and confirms athlete eligibility; recruits for booster board and officers, and serves as team's #1 cheerleader and general ombudsman.

Vice President: Oversees all Meet Operations and Officials. 

• Supports President in all responsibilities as needed.
• Recruit parents to become KHSAA certified officials.

Secretary: Oversees all team communication.

• Records minutes and communication from meetings; serves as liaison between board members and coaches when necessary; oversees all team communication procedures (currently includes email and remind notices, twitter account, supervises Instagram account). 
• Oversees and recruits volunteers for home meets (including creating volunteer job signups on SwimTopia/sign up genius/other). 

Treasurer:  Oversees finances. 

• Submits budget, and monthly updates. 
• Pays bills, and reconciles bank account. Files taxes.

Hospitality Chair: Chair of Hospitality Committee. 

• Organizes Team Pizza Party, Senior Recognition Night, Regional and State Pasta Parties, End of Season Banquet. 

Fundraising Chair: Chair of Fundraising Committee. 

• Organizes and oversees 2-3 fundraisers/year.

Spirit Wear Chair: Chair of Spirit Wear Committee. 

• Assists Coach with initial team spirit wear order of jackets, shirts and caps.
• Collect submissions for Regional T-Shirt design and place order. 
• Get quotes for State Team swag and place order. Deliver spirit wear.

Dive Chair:  A parent of a current diver. 

• Communicates Dive news, Dive meet & practice information to Divers and Dive Parents. 
• Assist in facilitating Dive communication/news to the entire team/coaches as needed. 

Team Captains:   Senior swimmers, or most experienced diver (Junior or Senior).

• 80% Practice Attendance
• Swimming: attend A MINIMUM of 6 regular season meets, unless sick or injured. Diving: 4 meets.
• Volunteer for at least one fundraiser.
• Promote team-building by attending All-Team Events: Pizza Party, Pasta Parties, and Banquet.
• Represent the Team at one of the following: Open House, or Start-up Informational Meeting, or 8th Grade Open House
